                         * Room with 2 single beds or 1 queen, small refrigerator, airconditioning, sink, shower, towels, etc. - cleaned daily.

soups, or salads with dinners, desserts.

 Guide tips:   Pesos preferred as guide tips daily: 1,000. pesos; total cost for week in pesos 6 days @ 1,000 = 6,000 pesos.
                U.S. dollar: guide TIPS daily, $50.; week cost: $300. (US);  thank you. 
                    Please bring "extra $$" for those GREAT days!! Your guide will bust records knowing "you" appreciate him!!!

                        Trip insurance "STRONGLY RECCOMEND" please.
                        TSA going down our rods & reels or flies in carry-on are accepted; but coming home all "MUST" be in your checked luggage.!!!                       
       Equipment:
             *Rods' weights: 10-12 wt. We bring 4 rods per person.
             *Reels: Large arbor reels are recommended. 
             *Fly lines: Tropical lines are "highly recommended" as they have about 50lb test core vs 30lb test core on a cold-water fly line.
                         40-50lb test, tippets minimum for dorado, and tuna... 30 lb is best for roosters as they have very good eyesight!!...Please!
                         Fly line types: Tropical Intermediate, tropical floating and full sink; I'm using all three.
             *Flies & poppers: Bring: poppers: blue/white, grey/white, green/white, chartreus/white; also, minnow imitations using same colors.                                                                            Clouser's (olive/white, chartreus/white, brown/white colors); Streamers in brown/white or beige/white are lady-fish imitations.
             *Rod socks: Essential for protecting rigged rods while in the boat or walking to and from the boat; made of plastic mesh/Chinese                                                                            handcuff.
             **Water thurmas/canteens/containers - Facility has 5-gal water jugs for filling your water thermoses. They don't want to deal with enormous amount of empty                plastic water bottles. Thank you...
             *Finger Stripping glove: Important to protect your fingers from "line cuts" from the continuous stripping of fly line across your line finger & the then, there's the                              "catch"... ouch!!!!
             *Line clippers, pliers, and hook file/sharpener: These are absolutely essential.
             *Lenses Wipes: Great for removing water spots, sweat, sunscreen, etc. from sunglasses while out on the water.
             *Hand Towel: Very useful for cushioning rods during rough boat rides and/or wiping fish slimmed hands.
             *First Aid Kit: Essential when minor first aid with krazy glue, is needed while on the water for hook punctures or?
             *Whistle for emergencies
             *PFD, personal floating device.
             *Headlight
             *Chargers
             *Camera
             *Canteens for water
             *Cell phone
             *Dry bag
             *Hat
             *Back brace, for back and as a fighting belt.
             *Toilet supplies for boat
​             *Boat shoes, clogs, grippy socks, etc.

             *Extra sunglasses

             *Bug spray,

Sunscreen.
             *Sun protection Clothing: 
                       Lightweight clothing, sun hats, sunglasses, extra sunglasses, buff and hospital socks to eliminate slipping on boat.
            *Name Tags on "all" luggage...even carry on.
            *Daily Routine:
                     Coffee daily "available" by 3:30:AM

            *Day 1 schedule airline travel "arrival" at the airport in Cabo, SJD.
​                      *Arrival time scheduling: Please arrive in Mexico, at the airport: SJD, 
as close to 11:30am as possible for group shuttle, please.
                      *On arrival at Cabo, SJD, your shuttle driver wearing pink/salmon color shirts reside at booth #10 & #11 outside: with a sign saying: "Pat Sleeper/ Pats                                  Flyfishing" Israel or Octavio will transport you as soon as you are all assembled with your luggage.   Please check-in with them...they have "your name"                              to check off...
                     *Be sure to tip your helpers at the airport porters, $5.00; AND, at the lodge (drivers) $10.00pp... Thank you.
                     *Ride to the lodge time:, this ride takes about 2 hr... depending on stops. He will stop if needed for personal needs on the trip., usually town of Las Barrales for                             any supplies you want to purchase...beer, snacks, nature, etc.
                     *Arrival at the facility, First take your luggage to your room, after being shown "your" room, for your stay; You may be given choices on your room; Return                            back to the van and tip your driver $10.
                      *Start unpacking; and, setting up your rods right away...you'll be surprised how fast time flies...and....…You may want to fish that evening.
.                    *Wi-Fi is available off and on..."not" dependable. Password on Refrigerator by dining room table.
​                     *Electrical plug-ins at the lodge are "just like the United States" for phone chargers and...

          *Day 2.   Generally, we get up at about 4:00am. 
                    *Breakfast is usually available @ about 4:30 am depending on sunrise and bait:  Coffee, Fresh fruit, juice, eggs, etc.
                    *Lunch: pack your ice chest with burrito or sandwich which is available on the table.; If you desire more than one sandwich, please tell cooks the night before.                           Check Gatorade packed in "your" ice chest is your flavor, water and your water canteen for you & your partner for your boat. You will "not" return to the                                 facility for lunch. Eat at your desired time out on the water. Chips and cookies are usually added to your lunch packed ice chest. 
                     *Boat assignments: A spreadsheet with your name, guides names and day of the week is located on dinner table to be filled out DAILY for your assigned guide 
                     *Daily, proceed to "your" "assigned boat" @ about 5:30AM with....
                           1. Lunch, Sandwich + extra's for guide or more for each of the 3 people. packed in ice chest Remember, tell cooks if you want more than one sandwich.
                           2. Strung rods.
                           3. Your dry bag
                              All this in hand for meeting boats out front of our lodge.
                     *
You will be returned to the facility, in the boat, as well at about 1:00pm. Be sure to take ice chest, rods and dry bag, daily from boat; AND Tip your guides $50.                       *At the end of your day. You should be fishing 6 - 8 hours depending on wind and weather. "you" have the choice of when you want to return to the                                  facility. Speak to your guide about this...Strong winds can be coming and you may just be able to make it back to the lodge, also for returning early...
                      *
Ice chests...please clean out your ice chests at the end of each day. Extra chips, cookies, water, etc. placed on table. Dump out water and allow to dry                                       upside down out front of dining tables.
        *Extra's: Fishing on Pat's boat: extra $50. each day with some instruction; plus, captains tip $50. day.
        *Day 6, Party time Friday night...Guides join us at our facility for a party @ 6:30pm. Sometimes live beautiful music. please tip musicians.
        *Day 7. At the end of the 7-day 
trip, please tip: usually about $100. pp for cook and $100. pp for the room cleaning.
                   Breakfast day of departure @ 7:00am. Pack your bags before and after breakfast. Shuttles will start leaving around 8:30am depending on airline reservations                         for the airport.

        *Guides:  tip guides daily @ $50.per day minimum please...add extra if they do extra.            
        *Daily fishing from sunup until about 1:00 (6-8 hrs.) or when you choose to return. Breakfast @ 4:00 AM; Fishing @ 5:00AM; boats out front. But, if you want                       to fish over 8 hrs., ask your guide; and, please respect him with an extra... tip extra, please!!!
        *Bring a few $5.00's (shuttle & airports) and $10.00's & $20. for tipping extra's here and there.

  Make checks payable to: “Pat's Flyfishing” 
  Payment, per person, with double occupancy, without upgrades, Amount:   $3,250. per person (7 nights lodging) including 6 days fishing w/guide and boat.
            Non fishing roommate: $2,250. per person for the week, 7 nights. Three meals per day; shuttle service to and from airport with that week's group.
            
Upgraded rooms @ $3,500. pp double occupancy; (If available.) for the week. including fishing guide and boat. 
            Single's (regular room) Rooms @ $6,000., (if available) for the week. of 7 nights; including fishing alone with guide and boat; count on double tipping guide.

  *These prices include shuttle, meals, and double occupancy in rooms & fishing unless paying for a single.

  Pat's Flyfishing Payment / Cancellation / Refund Policy Payment Details:  Payment is required to secure this reservation.  Final payment is due 90 days prior to scheduled arrival date.  Package pricing and rates are subject to change.  All prices and rates are in US Dollars. including Cancellation/Refunds:  Cancellation notice must be made IN-WRITING and sent to Pat's Flyfishing.  Up to 90 days prior to the trip, if for some reason you are unable to make the trip, you will be refunded the amount paid, less $250. 00, processing fee, per person.  Less than 90 days prior to trip, payments cannot be refunded, and all payments are forfeited, unless the cancelling client can secure an immediate replacement for that trip paying "you" the trip cost.  Again, it is the client’s responsibility to find a replacement.  There is no refund for any unused portion of the package.  Receipt of deposit and/or final payment to Pat's Flyfishing is acknowledgement that client has read and accepts the cancellation/refund policy and terms/conditions clause as published. This is where insurance takes over for illnesses, injuries, family emergencies, etc. Insurance is available on my website, thank you for asking.

• English-speaking host/shuttle driver at the airport., wearing pink shirts.; names: Octavio or Israel.
• Seven nights Lodging, 3 Meals per day, water provided. for filling your canteens.
